  WHAT IS GICLEE PRINTING Giclée (pronuncia inglese [dʒiːˈkleɪ]) is a neologism that describes the process of printing digital works of art on paper or canvas using a highly professional inkjet printer. These printers use the color process called CMYK but may have multiple cartridges for variations of each color. To print professionally, these prints are more expensive than Offset printing of four-color lithographs. The details of the images are more captivating, colored with brighter and more vibrant tones. The reproduced colors are brighter, longer lasting, and high definition. Thanks to their quality, Giclée reproductions have established themselves among collectors for their fidelity and quality and are often exhibited in museums and galleries.

  MUSEUM DURATION

Very long-lasting. Archival inks don’t fade, but it’s always a good idea to keep prints in a dry place and out of direct sunlight.
